We all started somewhere. If you have a flair for the creative or want to start your own business beading dresses, you can take private classes in our studio, semi private with a friend or two or group classes when available.

Basic beading techniques:

How to properly apply glue to various fabric surfaces to adhere your rhinestones. Patterns and color usage of stones on skating dresses. What to avoid. Hair accessories. Cleaning, storing and traveling with a beaded skating dress.

Advanced beading techniques:

How do properly sew intricate drop patterns onto the skating dresses. Appying appliques and trims that don't stretch. Removing a glued rhinestone or group of stones- we all make mistakes. Working with Venice lace, cutting, shaping and beading.

Custom dying techniques:

Custom dying is one of the scariest techniques to learn in theory, but it is actually easy and quite fun. This seminar is available on a one 2 one basis only.

Beading dresses as a part time job:

Whether you love beading dresses or just want to make a little extra money to help pay for skating expenses, you can buy dresses from Figure Skatewear® in bulk at a discount and bead them to sell to your clients at the rink or a competitions. Call for more info on this program.
